Usage
This template should be placed on a template page if there is consensus for that template to be deprecated (should no longer be actively used), but where removal of the template would seriously break the functionality of historical project pages like:
- Archived deletion discussions
- Talk page archives
- Arbitration decisions
- other technical reasons
This template will place pages into Category:Deprecated templates kept for historical reasons, while pages using such deprecated templates will appear in Category:Pages using deprecated templates
