===Usage===
The {{tl|Which calendar}} template is a variant of {{tl|Clarification needed}} to be used specifically when the clarification that is needed is the ''calendar'' in which a particular date is expressed.

At various times in modern history, [[Old Style and New Style dates|multiple calendars were in use at the same time]]. Therefore, in an article on Russian history, a date such as "March 1, 1881" may be ambiguous: it might mean {{OldStyleDate|March 1|1881|March 13}}, or it might mean {{OldStyleDate|February 17|1881|March 1}}.

You may use either of the following formats:
: <code><nowiki>{{which calendar|{{subst:DATE}}}}</nowiki></code>
or

: <code><nowiki>{{which calendar|date=</nowiki>{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTYEAR}}<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>

This template will place articles into [[:Category:Articles containing ambiguous dates]].

To fix the issue, use the {{tl|OldStyleDate}} template to clarify the meaning of the date:

: <code><nowiki>{{OldStyleDate|March 1|1881|March 13}}</nowiki></code>

which produces
